DIRECTIONS TO THE GLASSWORKS

From BANGOR & NORTH: Take Route 1-A South through Hampden, Winterport and into FRANKFORT.  Take the RIGHT at LOGGIN ROAD (After the DAM and BEFORE THE SHARP CURVE).  Take Loggin Road 2 miles to NORTH SEARSPORT ROAD, make a LEFT (sign for SWAN LAKE) and it's the first 'Dooryard'...

From BUCKSPORT & EAST TO ELLSWORTH: Take Route 1 WEST to BUCKSPORT & the WALDO-HANCOCK BRIDGE (with the new bridge being constructed).  Just over the bridge make a RIGHT (towards & past FORT KNOX).  Take this road until you come to the town of PROSPECT & ROUTE 1-A.  Make a RIGHT and head NORTH towards Frankfort.  Just after the COUNTRY FAMILY MARKET make a LEFT onto LOGGIN ROAD.  This is BEFORE the sharp right past the Firehouse and bridge.  Take Loggin Road 2 miles to NORTH SEARSPORT ROAD, make a LEFT (sign for SWAN LAKE) and it's the first driveway...

From BELFAST & SOUTH TO CAMDEN: Take Route 1 NORTH into BELFAST.  After passing Belfast & immediately after the bridge, make a LEFT onto SWAN LAKE AVENUE.  Take this 6 miles to the south end of Swan Lake & the Swan Lake Grocery Store.  At the store, make a RIGHT past the dam at the end of the lake and head North on eastern side of the Swan Lake (the lake is on your left).  Take this road 5 miles past the Frankfort Elementary School on your right.  As you come down the hill you will see a sign for the Glassworks & the entrance to the right (the hidden drive).  NOTE: If you continue on and turn right onto Loggin Road, when you reach Route 1-A you can turn left / NORTH towards BANGOR (the quickest shortcut between Belfast to Bangor)  or right / SOUTH back to Coastal Route 1 and into Bucksport, Blue Hill, Ellsworth , MDI & beyond...
